This is a collection of some of my favorite websites.  Some have both free and 'membership only' sections.  Some have specific sections for parents.  Many sites are targeted toward the needs of autistic children-but they often have the best pictures and descriptions for our younger kiddos.

http://www.abcteach.com/   This is the place for kids, parents, student teachers, and teachers.  Free Printables:  5000+ free printable pages and worksheets.

http://www.dotolearn.com/index.htm  games, songs, communication cards, print resources and information for special needs.  This is a site that specializes in information for autistic children, but has many things suited for our young learners.

http://www.communicationconnects.com/default.asp  This website is dedicated to providing practical, useable information for speech/language pathologists, educators, and parents.

http://www.enchantedlearning.com/Home.html   This is one of my favorite websites for printables!  As with most of these sites you can get free materials or join for a nominal fee and have access to much more.

http://www.funbrain.com/  This is from Pearson Educational, Inc. and most materials are for Kindergarten and older.

http://www.tinsnips.org/  Tinsnips is a special education resource that strives to share a variety of specialized teaching tools, techniques, worksheets, and activities with teachers of students who have autistic spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. Many of these activities may be appropriate for Pre-K and Kindergarten children

http://www.starfall.com/  This is a great interactive site for early reading and sound awareness activities.
