Welcome to Mrs. Gernand's Room!

My name is Cindy Gernand.  I have been teaching in Angleton ISD for 27 years.  I have a BS Degree in Elementary Education and a MA in Speech from the University of Houston.  Kindergarten is such an exciting year in a child's life.  The poem "All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten"  is my philosophy.  These early years are so important to a child's educational career.  I want my students to love school and love learning.  We work - we play, we talk - we sing, we write - we read, we stay busy and have fun!
