Six weeks testing will take place Sept. 29-Oct. 3

STAR

All students should visit the library this week.  They are all required to read 30 minutes at home each night and take AR tests at school when a book is complete.  Each student now has a reading log, reading level, and required AR points in their purple folder.  Half of their points are due by Sept. 15th.

Science

This six weeks we will be learning about lab safety, lab equipment, the scientific method, measurement, inferences, and charts/graphs.  All students will begin participating in labs only if they have returned a lab safety agreement. 

 Math

 We will begin by reviewing place value and progress into decimals.  Students will be expected to perform all operations with decimals including in problem solving.
