Assignment: Log into MicroType3 using your ID and SSN. Take the pretest.

Homework: study the keyboard handout. Memorize all the alphabetic keys on the home row (asdfg hjkl;), space bar, and enter key.

Quiz: Get a blank keyboard and fill in the home row with a black or blue pen. Put your name and period on it and check it with your red pen. Put it in the box on Ms. Fry's desk.

Assignment 1: Start a journal in Microsoft Word. Create a header with your name and period, capitalizing correctly. Enter the date, spelling it out. Press enter one time and enter the objectives, TEKS, Assignment, and Homework.

Assignment 2: Open MicroType3 and do the first lesson in Alphabetic Keyboarding.

Homework: study the keyboard handout. Memorize all the alphabetic keys on the third row (qwert yuiop).

Assignment 1: Get a "keyboard bingo" card. Put your name and period on it and wait quietly till everyone is ready to play the game.

Assignment 2: Log into MicroType3and do lesson 2 in Alphabetic Keyboarding.
