Music Rules and Procedures
 

Music is FUN

For Everyone!

  1. We come in and go straight to our assigned seats.
  2. We follow instructions of the teachers.
  3. We participate to the best of our ability.
  4. We do not touch other students or the teachers.
  5. We sing or play together and stop together.
  6. One person talks at a time.

Consequences of not following Rules and Procedures:

  1. Warning
  2. Removal from assigned seat or classroom time-out
  3. Note home
  4. Removal from the classroom

    Specifications for Performance Rehearsals:

  1. Performance is a privelage.
  2. Sometimes students get privelaged spots or parts in a program. If a child chooses to act irresponsibly with this privelage, he or she will lose that privelage.
  3. If a student is distracting others from rehearsal or not acting appropriately, the child will be corrected and warned.
  4. Student is given 3 verbal warnings (from any teacher helping with the program)
  5. Student is written up on a discipline referral notice and sent to see Ms. Jones.
  6. If a student is written up 3 times, he or she will be removed from the program. He or she will participate in an alternate activity during rehearsal.
