Hi! My name is Pat Matthews and I have been teaching  for more than 20 years, the last 17 years here in Angleton I.S.D. I have both a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a degree in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. I have to say that of all my favorite places, ECC is the very best place to be because EVERY CHILD REALLY DOES COUNT!  Every year I walk into my classroom with excitement and anticipation eager to meet my new students. The sight of so many little ones arriving at school with their new backpacks and their beaming faces is truly heartwarming.
