Welcome to 7th Grade Math

7th grade math students will begin their year with geometry.  We will discuss angles, shapes, and coordinate graphs. Throughout the year, students will continue to learn about area, equations, integers, probability, percent, perimeter, proportions, volume, and rational numbers.  Students will prepare for the Math TAKS test on April 18. 

About the teacher

My name is Sondra Jones.  I am married and have 3
children, Stephen, Laura, and Elizabeth.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Math from Stephen F. Austin University.  I am certified to teach math in grades 7-12.

I have taught 7th and 8th grade math in Angleton for over 30 years.
