Welcome to Mrs. Garwood's Classroom!

My name is Charlotte Garwood, and I have been teaching for 26 years.  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas.  After teaching fifth grade for one year and second grade for 25 years at Southside, I am now teaching first grade.  I am looking forward to working with your child this year.  I believe that education is a team effort between the parent and the teacher.  Please feel free to call me with any concerns or questions.  My conference time is 1:45 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. daily.   You can also e-mail me any time at        cgarwood@angletonisd.net.
