 
Welcome to Mrs. Gray's Class.
I have been teaching since 1983. I taught 1st grade in Brownsville, Tx and 3rd grade in Freeport, Tx.
I came to Southside Elementary in Angleton, Tx in 1988. I taught the Title 1 class until 2007 at which time I decided I missed the classroom.
Since then, I have taught 1st grade and 4th grade. I am currently teaching 1st grade. I love both ages. 1st graders are like sponges that are ready to absorb everything presented to them. They are full of hugs, hand drawn pictures of hearts, and sometimes accidentally call their teacher "Mom."
4th graders are more independent. They pretend they are all grown up but still have a sweet, loving side to them. They most often understand my jokes whereas the 1st graders take things very literally.
I enjoy helping each student achieve their academic and individual goals.
