                I am Mrs. Balbina S. Trevino. My professional teaching career spans over three decades. That is close to 10-15 years......Actually its well over 30! You may be glad to know that I consider math education of the young one of my greatest strengths.

                My original degree is a Bachelor of Science in Homemaking from Texas A&I, Kingsville. There was a heavy emphasis on Early Childhood Development. I taught Homemaking for 11 years in both the High School and Junior High levels. Many future "moms" passed through my classes; even some future "dads". During those years, my education continued and I earned additional certifications in Kindergarten, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education. Mary-Hardin Baylor University in Belton, TX and Texas International University in Laredo provided the opportunity since they were close  to home.

                I went on to teach Pre-K and Kindergarten for 21 years. (you do the math) After retiring for personal reasons, my heart led me to earning my Bilingual EC-4 Endorsement and returning to the classroom. After all I am still only 39? Without a doubt, this is the best time of my career!
