| Hello! My name is Mrs. Marti Rickaway and this is my first year teaching 5th Grade Music and 6th Grade Choir at AMS. I taught 6-8 grade Choir for five years at Clute Intermediate School in Brazosport ISD before coming to AMS. I have been singing all my life and I enjoy teaching the love of singing to my students everyday. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music with All-Level Certification. I have enjoyed singing in several area churches since moving to the Brazosport area and also had the honor of singing in the Elizabethan Madrigal Feast at the College for the Arts and Sciences in Clute last year. I am looking forward to a great school year as well as a great personal year for me as my husband and I are expecting our first child in March. I am excited to be here and hope to meet all of you this year! |
