to the

2009-2010 school year!!

I know that this year will be fulfilling and successful.  I do have high expectations and will not allow anyone to fail.  Your child will work hard but will be rewarded in the end. 

Things you need to know:

• Each week, we will be learning 20 new vocabulary words and testing each Friday.  Your child should study a minimum of 20 minutes each night. 
• As well as studying each night, your child needs to read each night for 30 minutes.
• The booktest deadline is November 11th.  Please keep reading each night to ensure your child reaches his/her goal.
• The book point party will be Friday, November 13rh. 
• My conference period is 8:00-9:00 on Monday thru Thursday.  On Fridays, I tutor so I will not be able to meet with any parents.
