Physical Education Teacher

The Angleton Middle School Physical Education Department wants to promote life long physical fitness.  To achieve this goal we expose the students to a number of activities and sports assuming that they enjoy so much that they will continue to participate in the activity throughout their lives.  The P.E. Department wants each student to have as much fun as possible, because we know that if they are having fun, they are more likely to find activities to continue lifelong.  Other areas of our P.E. Department that promote lifelong physical fitness are vision/hearing test, scoliosis screening, and physicals.  At some point during the next two years you child will participate in these check-ups to help identify any problem areas.  Students will learn the importance of receiving regular check-ups and how they can be very beneficial to their lifelong health.

Your child will be required to wear athletic shoes and socks everyday during P.E. class.

Parent/Doctor Excuse

If your child is unable to participate in P.E. due to illness/injury, we will need a parent note.  If the illness or injury will require your student to miss more than three consecutive days of class, a doctor's note is needed stating how long your child shall sit out.  If you child has asthma make sure the nurse has an inhaler.
