1. Compensatory time in-service must be selected to help attain campus district goal, and meet the required state mandatory staff development criteria of conflict resolution, discipline management, technology, and special education.

  2. To receive compensatory time for attending non-contracted days or time in in-services, the total instructional hours must equal six hours to receive one day of compensatory time (excluding breaks and meals).

  3. Compensatory time will be allowed only for teacher workdays.

  4. No compensatory time shall be allowed for instructional days or release time in-service.

  5. No compensatory time credit will be allowed for in-services for which the teacher is paid a stipend.

  6. Prior approval forms for the school year must be presented to the principal before the teacher workday and retained at campus level by the principal.

  7. Calendar for the comp time begins June 1 and ends May 31 of the school year.

  8. For questions regarding any in-service, contact the appropriate curriculum/program director.

  9. Administrators on contract are not eligible for in-service comp time.
