All-Star Readers Challenge!!!
(Contest ENDS March 13th, 2008)

The Challenge:

    1.) Spend more free time reading.  
        Find your grade below:

            1st-3rd graders / Read at least 20 
            minutes per day for 25 days during the 
            contest (500 minutes total)

                 4th-5th graders / Read at least 25 
            minutes per day for 25 days during the 
            contest (625 minutes total)

    2.) Find a "Reading Coach" (a parent, teacher, 
        librarian, or tutor) to sign the back of the 
        Score Sheet after each time you read.

    3.) Return your All-Star Readers Score Sheet to 
        your teacher by March 13, 2008.

WIN Great Grand Prizes:

      1,000 kids / Rockets Drawstring Bag
    1,000 kids / Shane Battier & HEB "Buddy" Puzzle

All-Star Readers Team Prize:

      Students who make the All-Star Readers Team 
    by meeting "The Challenge" who are NOT awarded 
    a Grand Prize will win a Certificate of 
    Achievement for their reading accomplishments.

What Reading Counts:

      * A book, magazine or newspaper that you select 
        to read that is not homework.
    * Reading during class or in the library as allowed 
        by your teacher.
    * Time spent reading at home, either by yourself 
        or with a parent or guardian.
    * Time spent reading on the weekend or school 
        holidays.
